A few weeks ago our colleague from Singapore, Margaret, came for the last time for the year 2008 ...
So we went makan lah ... what else??? ... ahahahaha ...
We went to a real "ulu-ulu" place in Seri Kembangan, called "Ikan Bakar Garam" ... ehhhh ... "fish burn salt"??? ... or is it "salt burn fish"??? ... ahahaha ...
And not only that ... we had to endure almost an hour of traffic jam to get there ... but it was worth it ... so says Margaret ...
If you are coming from "South City Plaza" ... go straight ... pass the market on your right ... go straight somemore ... then after passing the "Public Bank" on your right, turn right when you come to a traffic light ... turn right again at the first right lane ... and you'll see the restaurant ...

... there!!! ... no kidding you what ... "Ikan Bakar Garam" ... I think it's more meaningful in Chinese ... and no mention that it's a restaurant somemore ... ahahahaha ...

... when we got there, the whole area was in a blackout ... except for this restaurant ... so it was so easy to look for it ... but parking in the dark was an experience never want to repeat again ... ahahahaha ...

... Margaret and aahhh-CHEW!!! ...

... Yoke Siew and Margaret ...

... so the pitiful ... only eat soya sauce ahhhh??? ...

... this is one of their specialities ... tilapia wrapped with salt and roast in hot fire ... the skin became so crispy, you just need to peel it off to eat the sweet flesh ... eat with their special sauce ...

... the other specialty ... tilapia wrapped in aluminium foil and baked with ginger ... and the best part is when they serve the fish at the table, they will pour a bottle of chicken essence into the fish ... WOW!!! ... fantastic taste ...

... their guinness stout ribs also not bad ...
Usually Yoke Siew doesn't eat fish, especially tilapia ... but that night the fish was so fresh there's no fishy or soil taste at all ... and she walloped them all!!!
... "and all king's horses and all the king's men, couldn't bring the fish back together again" ... ahahahaha ...
